This is me so far (subject to change at whim or as Jasper advises) ...
Inspiration - music, scripture, nature, and all things old, odd, bent, rusted, broken, twisted, unusual, asymetrical - you get the idea! I tend to walk just a bit off the beaten path. My shop name is inspired by my grandmother, the real Lilah Broxton who was a smart, creative, and tenacious woman of Scottish descent.
Currently listening to Keith Urban, Margaret Becker, Jane Siberry, Amy Grant, The Monkees, The Eagles (is my age showing?) and Taylor Hicks. Currently reading Janet Evanovich, Daphne DuMaurier, and Ecclesiaticus from my Bible (such practical advice for everyday living).
Favorite haunts - Cades Cove, antique stores, flea markets, bead & rock shops, used bookstores, and Etsy shops, of course!!
In real life, I'm a self-employed resume consultant. A quite rewarding job, but my backside is becoming chair-shaped, thus I decided a few years ago that I needed a creative diversion. So, by day I'm a businesswoman and by evening/weekend an artist/designer. Somebody give me a superhero cape!
I could just maybe possibly be persuaded to trade/barter with fellow Etsians and would love to have opportunities to feature artwork and supplies by other artists/designers in my work. Let's think on that for a bit ...
I do want happy customers, so I'm very reasonable about returns/exchanges - just convo me and we'll work it out!
Just joined myspace - site in progress ... still, would love to have you visit me there! myspace.com/lilahbroxton
Be sure and check out TheRedDirtGirl - we craft together ... and laugh together ... and have many adventures - or misadventures! :)
